Mobile phone

In general, in the World there are two types of communication network which is used to communicate via mobile phone, the GSM and CDMA. Currently, both GSM and CDMA network has been supporting data communication via the internet on mobile phones. Both the mobile phone GSM CDMA mobile phone and have a characteristic and different specifications, so that a GSM phone can not be used in the CDMA network, as well as vice versa. Similarly with the type of card, you can not use the card in the GSM mobile phone CDMA and vice-versa.

1.1 Ponsel GSM

GSM stands for the term "Global System for Mobile Communication", a mobile communication technology that is digital and global. IPO utilize this technology, micro-wave and the signal is divided based on time, so that the signal information will be sent to the destination. GSM has become the standard for mobile communication global while mobile technology is the most widely used around the world.
What does this mean? That means you can use your GSM phone in the GSM network anywhere in the world. Suppose you are abroad, you can still communicate with the phone card and you can still communicate with the mobile phone and your card for the frequency of the GSM network in the country is still the same as the frequency of the GSM network in the country is still the same as the frequency of the GSM network in your mobile phone . So you do not need to fuss and mei phone card when you travel abroad. This is what you often known as roaming term.
Mobile communication technology is already developed and widely used in the early 1980s. Among C-NET system developed by Germany and Portugal by Siemens, RC-2000 system which was developed in the Netherlands and Scandinavia by Ericsson, as well as TACS system which operates in the UK. However, the technology that is still analog system that is used to create a regional, so that the system of one country with another is not the most compatible and user mobility limited to a particular technology area system only. In other words can not do roaming between countries.

Analog communication technology is not developed in accordance with the development of European society that increasingly dynamic. To overcome the problem, the European countries formed an organization in 1982. Organization is given the name "Group Special Mobile", aims to determine the mobile communication standard that can be used in all European countries. Organization that it is harbinger of the emergence of digital cellular technology, which was then known by the name "Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM).

GSM is shown in mid-1991 and eventually became the standard for mobile telecommunications throughout Europe by ETSI (European Telecommunication Standard Institute). GSM is a commercial operation can begin at the beginning of the last quarter of 1992 due to the GSM technology that is complex and needs of the depth can be used as standard for communication. In the non-September 1992, the standard "type approval" for the phone agreed to consider and include dozens of items in the produce GSM.

At the beginning of the operation, the GSM has been anticipating the development of the number of users is very rapid and the direction of the service area per the high, so that the direction of development of the technology IPO is a DCS (Digital Cellular System) on the 1800 Mhz frequency allocation. With frequency, the capacity will reach customers who increasingly large per unit cell. In addition, with cells outside of the small can by decrease the strength of dispersed mobile phone charger, so that the radiation hazard arising to the organ can be reduced.

Use of GSM and then extended to Asia and America. for example Indonesia, Indonesia in the first analog mobile phone system called AMPS (Advances Mobile Phone System) and NMT (Nordic Mobile Telephone). However, the presence of mobile communication system standard system analog slowly disappeared. Does not only happen in Indonesia, but also in Europe. GSM users is growing increasingly old.

At the end of 2005, the number of GSM subscribers in the world has reached 1.5 billion subscribers. An amount not less. Finally, the GSM is growing and growing mobile telecommunications system as the most widely used worldwide. Including you, of course.
